A lot of great things are happening for the upcoming Mega Reunion in August 2024. Cheryl (Taylor) Sampino, Class of 1981 and Renee Ebejer Swineheart, class of 1979, Heidi Grillo Class of 1980, and Julie (Moo) Bradley Class of 1976, are working on the itinerary, menu, flowers, decorations, and layout. Together, they are collaborating to bring you an exciting evening.

Patrick McDowell will be working on A/V, sound staging, and DJ. Together, they are putting the pieces to the puzzle together with the support and outstanding team from the Santa Clara Convention Center which will result in an incredible evening. It will be an event you do not want to miss.

As you can imagine, not only are countless hours put forth for this event, but it will require a great deal of money to cover everything that is involved.

The expenses of the Mega Reunion, just like in previous Mega Reunions are funded by ticket sales. In previous Mega Reunions, we were fortunate to have some very generous alumni who sponsored portions of the Gala Event such as bar sponsorship, (Bar sponsoring is paying for the bartender), contributions that paid for the band (No band this time, DJ instead), those who funded the memorable Viking Skoal, the chocolate fountain was a hit and so much more.

Just like our past reunions, we hope to have the gift of generosity from our alumni who may be able to contribute and sponsor.

The areas of needed sponsorship are as follows:

1.       Bar Sponsorship (4-6 Bars) $300.00 Ea. (This pays for the bartender which is a separate charge)

2.       D.J (approximately 2k-$2500)

3.       Floral and decorations (Approximately $2900.00)

4.       Security -$700

5.       Insurance (Approximately $1100.00)

Those who can contribute will receive recognition in the LHS Memory Book under our advertisement pages (if you are a business) or under our recognition pages as an individual. You can contribute in memory of someone special or in general. Names will be placed on the actual bar during the evening of the event (without fail).

All contributions and sponsorship will be greatly appreciated, not only by the committee but by all the LHS alumni who attend this historic event. It is a special way to be part of “Once in a lifetime moment.”

The LHS Mega Reunion website will have a page and form to fill out and the amount of sponsorship or contribution you can make. All contributions will go directly into the LHS Mega Reunion bank account.
