In attendance
were the following committee members. Rick Figueroa (Chairman),
Debbie Luck (Saturday Night Social Coordinator), Sue Fitzpatrick
(Treasurer), and Patrick McDowell (Family Day Coordinator).
The Committee discussed and agreed
ticket sales were to go on sale September 29th, 2023. The agreed
price for each ticket was set at $175.00 Each. Each ticket
covered the cost of all LHS Mega Reunion sponsored events which
includes The Saturday Night Social to be held Saturday August
10th, 2024, and Family Day located at Saratoga Springs on Sunday
August 11th, 2024.
The Committee agreed to get a good
start, we would introduce a Early Bird Special of $150.00 ea.
which would run through September 30th, 2023. Tickets sales were
strong for the month of September, reaching a goal of over 100
tickets sold for the first month. The goal is to sell 850-1000
tickets by July 31st, 2024.
The committee implemented Ticket
Tailor to handle the process and sales of tickets sold. Ticket
Tailor allows us to move forward and away from manual tickets.
No paper tickets will be issued to the ticket purchaser. Tickets
are sold through the website. When tickets are sold, and the
order is processed, E-Tickets are instantly distributed through
the email provided when tickets are purchased. These tickets can
be saved on your phone or printed out. The OR code on the ticket
will be scanned, allowing guest entrance into the event. More
details will be provided regarding name tags etc.
Other areas of discussion included
the need for alumni to volunteer as Class Representatives. Class
Representatives are needed to coordinate a team to decorate
their designated area how ever they choose. They will also be
the point person to arrange with their classmates where to meet.
This is very important for your graduating class, so they know
where to meet the people who matter the most.
Without a Class Rep, your class will
be without representation which can be a big disappointment in
where to meet and without showing your class spirit. This will
also put the committee in a position to seat people in a mixed
and open available seating. This was done 2003.
The Committee has elected to postpone
meetings until next January 11th, 2024 due to the holidays.
